The rich red cold Wellendorff enamel is applied by hand in the manufactory to each individual plane with great skill and precision. With the help of a microscope, the experienced enamellers apply several layers to create the rich colour reflections.

As the gold garland climbs gently under the Wellendorff cold enamel, a delicate budding golden vine emerges on the surface of the HIBISCUS ring. This romantically playful design pays homage to the original designs by Ernst Alexander Wellendorff from 1893, which marked the beginning of the Art Nouveau period in Europe.
