Representing the fifth generation of the Wellendorff family, Isabelle Wellendorff dreamt of a necklace that would delicately caress her décolleté and yet at the same time elegantly accentuate it. The master goldsmiths made this dream come true by creating the 35 cm-long, Y-shaped necklace. The delicate Brilliance of the Sun strands made from warm 18-karat yellow gold unite harmoniously with the subtle nude tones - the perfect combination of dimensional stability and flowing weightlessness.
The highest quality goldsmithing and a profound understanding of materials are the prerequisites for a necklace that retains its shape and whose rope ends are flexible enough to fall gently down into the décolleté. Thanks to an invisible clasp, the two sides of the Y-shaped necklace remain perfectly aligned without compromising the fluidity of the line.
Incorporating the Wellendorff cold enamel onto the special Y-shaped necklace was a unique challenge for the goldsmiths. The solution: 118 tiny, aligned “magical” cubes made from 18-karat gold.
To ensure that the strand of mosaics achieves the desired shape, each gold cube is designed individually in the manufactory. Although they may look square, they are actually flexible and conical in shape. This allows the necklace to nestle perfectly around the neck and décolleté.
An elegant extension chain allows the length of the necklace to be customised and adjusted to fit any neckline.
